The house required extensions in three directions - for car accommodation, extra bedrooms and enlarged living areas
We sought to maintain the classic lines of the existing house, but at the same time give more ceiling height and a more spacious feel to the living areas.

The slab poured and timber frames ready to be erected for the garage.
The bedroom wing framed ready for the roofer and bricklayer to start.
The living areas will have spectacular views to the north. Footings poured and demolition of the existing house completed at the interface with the new living areas.

Frames going up for the new living area.
The bedroom wing with brickwork complete.
Spectacular view from new living area. Storage area below living area with deck to go above.

LITTLE BURRA HOUSE

A large extension to an existing country house to provide much needed car accommodation, storage, a new bedroom and greatly enlarged split level living areas opening off the existing kitchen and family room. These take advantage of the northern orientation and views over the Burra valley and towards Queanbeyan.
