Almost every room had to be modified to comply with the Access Code The final plan as it took shape after many hours of detailed work.
The therapy room takes shape in the rear yard, though it's working hard as a storage shed as well Most of the interior is a mass of wires and insulation
The carpenters remain cheerful Some massive hyspan beams hold up the existing roof where major internal alterations were necessary.

 

The kitchen is a specialised design utilising information from the Independent Living Centre

Tiling has commenced
More tiling Architect and builders scratch their heads. This hasn't been a simple or easy conversion
Hoist in place and operating The base carcassing for the kitchen is installed
The hi tech bed installed The second bedroom is operational
 
Kitchen nearing completion. Still some work to go though.  

GREVILLEA STREET, O'CONNOR ACT

Conversion of an existing house to give disabled access for our client. Most of the work has been completed comprising major modifications to the bathroom/WC and kitchen areas, as well as widening passageways and installing a hoist in the bedroom. Just a few final things to complete, some landscaping and a carport.
