An interesting and odd shaped block presented us with some unusual challenges. A large street frontage restricted the amount of usable open space. We used the courtyard policy to maximise north facing private space.

The family room and kitchen are reconfigured to pick up northern sun and to give a separate informal living area.

"Wet" areas form a central spine to allow living and bedroom areas to have solar access.
The south facing living areas have been reused as bedroom and study areas and the living area moved to the north to open off to a large sunny deck.

JAMIESON CRES, KAMBAH ACT

Set on an interesting and odd shaped block, this house required more space and natural light in the main living areas. The new design provides a new family room, deck, bedrooms and ensuite. Construction work is almost complete.
