A quick freehand sketch From a simple one level floor plan it has developed into many levels and a central void to link them. This brings sunlight into the back of the house and gives stunning views towards the city in the north.

Work on the interface with the existing house. It's a difficult junction.
The existing living area and kitchen will open into a double volume atrium with skylights.
The stone facade rises up.
Scottish baronial?.
You can almost see Black Mountain Tower out of the panoramic living room window.
Skylights flood the central atrium with light.

Now under construction using an owner builder permit. At lock up and finishing trades are commencing.
