The existing loft storage area needed a stair access and considerable reshaping to make it into a bedroom. The stairs were the first challenge. Not much room to tuck it under the existing roofline.
Very detailed drawings, and still we had to improvise. A 3D model of the stairs, and we tried a mock up with scrap timber to be sure that it wasn't too intrusive on the dining area
