The existing house is on a battleaxe block, which is ideal for siting the granny flat when we demolish the current double garage.	A very simple plan conforming to AS 4299 Adaptable Housing Code

The trick was to give both the existing house and the granny flat individual identities/address points and screened private open spaces.
